“Gundi – A Legend of Love”

Bulgarian Education and Culture Society “Pchela” presents a second screening of the movie “Gundi – A Legend of Love”, a feature film dedicated to the great and beloved footballer from the past, Georgi Asparuhov – Gundi.

“Gundi – A Legend of Love” follows the life of this great athlete, from his meeting with Velichka Markova – Lita, to the tragic day of June 30, 1971. The script is based on untold stories from the personal life of Georgi Asparuhov and his greatest love – his wife Lita. Together, they navigate numerous trials in life, football, and the system, but remain together until the very end. The screen will also bring to life some of Gundi’s legendary matches, thanks to hundreds of special effects used in the film.
